Re: Admin > Orders > Updates Do Not Notify Customer

I was working with the modified Mail class without using attachments (I used the class outside of OC) without problems. Now, when I tried it with OC I found that the old problem with virus notification still exists. Finally, I managed to make the provider's mail filter server silent. I have carried ...

Re: [Solved] Email Problems

Dear anno78, please try the followings: 1. open the system/library/mail.php file for editing 2. find the following line $message .= '--' . $boundary . '--' . $this->newline; (it is line 145 in OC 1.4.8 ) 3. replace it with the following line $message .= $this->newline . '--' . $boundary . '--' . $th...

Re: Admin > Orders > Updates Do Not Notify Customer

Daniel, I like OC, I think you did a really good job. I just share my experience, which is the following: if you add an extra new line just before the closing boundary then virus notification disappears. The content of my test e-mails were exactly the same in both cases (with and without the new new...

Re: Admin > Orders > Updates Do Not Notify Customer

Well, my friends let me allow to correct my proposal. Do not delete the previously quoted line 145 from the Mail class but replace it with the following one: $message .= $this->newline . '--' . $boundary . '--' . $this->newline; Simple deletion would result ugly message display in Outlook and does n...

Re: Admin > Orders > Updates Do Not Notify Customer

I have compared the two mail classes and identified the difference that solved the problem in my case. I found that a single line had to be removed from the Mail class (system/library/mail.php) of OC 1.4.8. The line that need to be remove d is line 145 : $message .= '--' . $boundary . '--' . $this->...

Re: Admin > Orders > Updates Do Not Notify Customer

The Mail class replacement posted by Daniel on 22nd January 2010 works fine for me. No virus notification comes with the e-mail and the content is displayed properly.

Re: Admin > Orders > Updates Do Not Notify Customer

The same virus notification is received if the mail is sent by OC 1.4.8 as a standard order confirmation. I guess that the problem is somewhere in the headers but I'm not an expert of SMTP. If I send an HTML e-mail via my e-mail client (Mozilla) then it is not identified as a virus by the same ISP's...

Anti-virus notification in case of HTML mail

I have used OC's Mail class to send an HTML e-mail. Depending on the destination address / server the result is different. In most of the cases the e-mail is delivered successfully but there are exceptions. E.g. the Kaspersky Mail Gateway that is used by my ISP produces the following anti-virus noti...

Re: Hungarian language pack

I have translated "Guest checkout" to "Vásárlás regisztráció nélkül" although "Regisztráció nélküli vásárlás" could be even better.

Re: Hungarian language pack

Now, it is ok. What did you change? (Currently it is a bit complicate to get free stuff through OpenCart but finally I succeeded...) Nice job, thank you for sharing it. Nevertheless, I plan to make some fine tuning: 1. E.g. in my opinion the proper translation for Special is "Akciós" in this context...

Re: Hungarian language pack

Hi Kriszta! Sounds really good, I've just started to do the missing translation for 1.4.8b and correct the additional misspellings I found in the 1.4.0 translation. But if you have already done the job, then it is really appreciated. I have tried to download your translation but it seems to me there...

Re: Can OpenCart be used to sell activation keys/licenses?

Well, I would also prefer a way to sell software activation keys through OpenCart. Probably a general framework could be implemented for the following distribution method: 1. download software trial for free 2. customer enters into OpenCart a device and software specific installation identifier (dis...

Re: Hungarian language pack

There is a 1.4.0 Hungarian translation on www.opencart.hu.
I found some minor bugs (misspellings) in it but it is usable.
E.g.: Segitság instead of Segítség on the admin page, or kereés... instead of keresés... on the shop page.

Re: Install says successful but wont work

Dear adrunkentheory, Xsecrets and others, Thank you very much for your support. OpenCart is able to run on my Windows XP Home as well. I was the reason of the problem why the shop pages did not display correctly on my installation: previously when I was trying to figure out the original problem I ha...

Re: Install says successful but wont work

As the "real" server is not yet available I continued playing with my Windows XP Home. On Windows XP Home there is no Security Tab on the folder properties dialog and there is no way to uncheck the simple file sharing because there is no such checkbox in the corresponding list. As I know this approa...

Re: Install says successful but wont work

On Windows XP Home there is no standard GUI to check or change the access rights to a folder. Nevertheless, I made some changes regarding the access rights by the CACLS command line utility without any visible effect on OpenCart behavior. The error message about the missing session file still persis...
