[SOLVED] VAT Listed twice in order totals (v1.4.9.3)

Hi, VAT is being listed twice on all checkouts for orders going to Zone 5 (Rest of Europe). Further testing showed that it was only Malta being effected. Solution -the country, Malta, was listed twice under the Geo Zone (Zone 5); removing the duplicate entry resulted in the correct VAT on checkout. ...

Coupon code case sensitivity

Hi,

Could any one help me? I would like to accept coupon codes without checking case, so that for example 'Eu15', 'eu15' and 'EU15' would all be accepted as 'EU15' coupon code.

Presently (OpenCart 1.4.9.3) coupon codes are subject to case verification. How do I bypass this?

Thanks in advance,

Gary

(Google Analytics PRO) Tracking SHIPPING + TAXES

Tested: OpenCart 1.4.9.3 Extension: Google Analytics PRO Hi, This is small modification of the Google Analytics PRO extension to allow tracking of (1) Shipping and (2) Tax per order. Important: the code below must assume a 'sort_order' value for both Shipping and Tax; you will need to substitute 'SH...

Re: Upgrade to 1.5.0

Have you contacted your hosts -perhaps they could revert your files and database to a previous version? My hosting, for example, is set up to create automatic backups *in addition* to the backups I regularly create myself. As i2Paq has suggested however, you should have read the official guidelines ...

Re: FrogIt.com -- reputable?

Hi, Johnathan I noticed this caveat in their merchant FAQ: The FrogIt Seal is a small image, or seal, that we request merchants to place on their websites. The seal is attractive and adds credibility to your website. We do not require merchants to put the FrogIt seal on their website. However, merch...

Re: [1.4.9.5] Import/Export Tool Excel Formulas

Hi, I've done a lot of importing by CSV -not Excel mind you, but I found that one trick to eliminate problems with formulas was to copy everything you need and 'Paste as Values' (Paste > Special) in to a fresh spreadsheet, and import that. Granted, it may not be such an elegant solution but I found ...

Re: Global mega options for opencart 1.5?

yes it is and no the main distribution will not include anything to port gmo options over to 1.5 as a matter of fact I currently don't think the upgrade script will move any options over to 1.5 when you upgrade because of the massive overhaul of the options system. Yeah I never expected there to be...

Re: Global mega options for opencart 1.5?

I thought OpenCart 1.5 was supposed to include something akin to global options as part of its core?

Could anyone confirm?

Cheers!

[SOLVED] Google Analytics PRO *script not showing*

UPDATE: The e-commerce script does now show on the order success page -although without the expected line breaks (in case you are looking for it) in the body section. The following questions remain unanswered and arguably valid concerns, however the module does seem to be working and Google Analyti...

Re: Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking

Hi Stonehinged,

You might be in luck -the author has included respective archives for different Opencart versions -see attached pic for info. There isn't a a version for 1.4.7 specifically but perhaps it's worth shotting the author a PM or enquiry to see if one will work for you?

Re: Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking

Hi Stonehinged,

Nice idea, I had suspected the IF statement but hadn't thought of adding an ELSE statement to help us debug, kudos! I will try some debugging myself on this tangent and report back.

PS, did you try the VQ Mod or did you install manually?

Re: Google Analytics Ecommerce Tracking

Similar to Stonehinged,

I am still experiencing the same issues: no e-commerce tracking code on the success page nor results in Google Analytics.

Also interesting what Stonehinged pointed regarding the closing tag, can anyone else confirm?

All the best

Re: (EU VAT) Invalid VAT number?

Hi Tim, Version 0.33 seems to work great, anything to reduce user errors is a welcome change. I do hope the ISO country code can be prefixed to the customer's number if they haven't done so themselves, as SXGuy has said many customers aren't aware that they need to declare it. If you do update the e...

Hi Tim, No need to apologise, thanks for the reply. Actually you were very helpful in the past, answering my comments very quickly on your extension URL.
