Re: Setting Local Timezone values in database

My approach just does the necessary conversion to the 'wanted' date and time You appear to want to just change this date to a different 'display' style I wanted to display date AND time of an Order so have done this by defining an appropriate constant in the /admin/language/english/english.php file ...

Re: Setting Local Timezone values in database

Just enter the required timezone for the webserver (step 1)
ie in system/startup.php around line 50 change

Code: Select all

if (!ini_get('date.timezone')) {
     date_default_timezone_set('UTC');
}

to

Code: Select all

date_default_timezone_set('Australia/Sydney');

Steps 2 and 3 are handled by the code

Re: [1.5.0] Banner errors - Can't figure it out

Thanks Qahar
I had actually just discovered that by accident ::)

Works fine now - even with transparent pngs although the Nivoslider site says it may not!

Re: image background in 1.5

Preview: Re: image background in 1.5
Strange that...
It works fine on my localhost setup - (whereas your code does not).

I am presuming your store is located in a brand subfolder and the stylesheet.css has not been moved?

Anyway at least its working now!

Re: image background in 1.5

Hi Try removing the duplicate COLOR declaration and change ../ to just / in the url Also keep all padding as 0 and use full #6digit colors i.e. body { background-color: #ffffff; background-image: url(/brenda/image/bg.png); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position: center top; color: #000000...

Setting Local Timezone values in database

Sometimes in OpenCart the effect of different timezones can affect what is stored in the database and displayed to the user. Whilst the defaults work correctly on my local pc I found that on a Live server they did not and Dates/Times for Orders and Order History were not being displayed as I would l...

Re: Basket text

Hi
This is used everywhere so is the topmost language file (catalog/language/english/english.php)
The variable is $_['button_add_to_cart']

Re: Basket text

Simply change any occurences of "cart" that you find in the language php files. These are in catalog/language/english.php for globally used english texts e.g. $_['button_add_to_cart'] = 'Add to Cart'; and in the subfolders for other modules eg catalog/language/english/sub_folder/filename.php eg cata...

Re: here we go again

Hi

I am not familiar with accept. and file. entries in your php.ini.
Presumably they are deliberate (as you have repeated the post_max_size and upload_max_filesize entries after them?)

Re: Help with tax feature!! opencart 1.4

That must be a configuration issue as Opencart normally will just receive the price per item (Funnily enough I too have had it but I cannot remember how I fixed it . Sorry :D As a quick hack you could just update the database price through phpMyAdmin or whichever sql tool you use obviously the sql w...

Re: Help with tax feature!! opencart 1.4

Just to clarify the example from SXGuy Product costs £200, PLUS vat @ 20% = £40 --> gives total Retail price of £240. (ie 20% vat on net on is actually 16.667% (1/6th) off retail) So a retail of £200 would include a VAT amount of £33.33 leaving a net of £166.67 You need to take your feed price and s...

Re: [MOD] - VirtualQMod "vQmod" Virtual File Modification Sy

Whilst debugging an admin change I was doing (on Windows locally) I found that VQMod was causing some of the files to be loaded twice (taking several milliseconds longer at least :) ) and on checking found it was due to the path strings being different before and after calling vqmod->modCheck and he...
