FINAL CONCLUSION: don't use PayPal standard. They must have upgraded something, because it now doesn't like radio, checkbox or select options. All the rest worked. ok this is what i've concluded (but still need help). I installed a clean version of OP in new folder with new database. When I add an item and proceed to cart paypal works, BUT, if I add an option to the product and then select it in the cart and try to check out, I get the paypal shipping address ...

Yes, whatever I typed in (0, 1 or 2) it sticks, but the error of the shipping address is still there. Is this a common issue others have seen?

What I found out was that PayPal doesn't like long named options with up charge prices. I shorten the long one and it then went through to PayPal with no problem.

Opencart 3.0.2.0 Not Submitting Total to PayPal
Opencart is calculating the totals correctly, but when I submit to PayPal, PayPal logins in correctly and shows the correct owners email address but shows $0.00 for the total. Any Ideas of what I missed, this is my 5th Opencart install for 5 different clients and no problems until now.
