Order VAlue === 0 then No Order generated

Before people ask NO I am not using the free shipping module. If I have a product with a value of 0 such as Free Product Sample & have shipping set to 0 going through the coplete checkout process results in Thank You for your order etc, but in Admin no order is generated / recorded, no notificat...

Re: Admin Manual Order entry Does not get user group discount

Why the agitation: I wrote "There appears to be no mention of a fix for this issue in the 3.1 Alpha release!" in response to your "hope" that it would be in the next release, 3.1.0 Alpha. So what's the reason for the attitude of your response? It's probably best that I not add mo...

Anyone know of an extension that will allow site owner to create manual orders that take account of customer group product ...

Re: 8 bit png images being converted to 32 bit png images by OC

I agree entirely, it is why I raised the topic as the SEO implications given Google's recent focus on page load speed are potentially huge. Here's hoping that one of the core development team picks this up and implements a fix. I am assuming that it will have something to do with whatever PHP graphi...

Re: 8 bit png images being converted to 32 bit png images by OC

The images in question are those being used for the Home page banner extension. They are getting resized to the pre-set banner size with .1120x450.png being added to the post processed image file name. As I said previously, I up load 8 bit png & any processing by OC results in 32 bit png. Just r...

8 bit png images being converted to 32 bit png images by OC

Hi All, I am not sure if this happens in all versions of OC, but definitely in v3.0.2.0 I process my images via Adobe Fireworks & at times save some as 8 bit png's for reduced file size , performance etc. I have just noticed today that OC converts these 8 bit png's from 8 bit to 32 bit. In my ca...

Re: Modules not adjusting for Left/Right

Why was this not picked up in beta testing. I was hoping that the developers would have learned their lesson from the OC version 1.x.x series. This is a fundamental / core design issue. I have just downloaded the latest 2.0.1.1 and the issue is still present. Yes there are fixes, having build many b...

Re: PCI Compliance?

Here is a store that I have gained PCI compliance as verified by Trustwave. Logo in footer, click on it for Trustwave confirmation. Hope this helps prove the point that OC is secure enough for PCI compliance. I've not read all of the posts in this thread, but I can confirm that getting this status f...

Re: shocked at how much inline styles and tables in the mark

As the majority of on-line stores basically produce tabulate data (products) w3c suggests that such data is ideally suited to displaying within html 'table' elements . It is therefore not surprising to see table structures throughout opencart pages. I do agree however that where the content of a pag...
