Re: could not load language english! (solved)

I managed to sove my particular issue, which was caused by changing the admin folder name. I had made sure to change it in the root config.php, but hadn't changed all instances in admin/config.php as well. This is what caused the problem in my case, and I was able to fix it that way. :) Perhaps othe...

Re: 1.2.9 order filter by name

Daniel's right: Here's how you do it

1: Open admin > model > customer > order.php
2: Go to line 148
3: change this part:

$sql .= " AND CONCAT(o.firstname, ' ', lastname)

to this

$sql .= " AND CONCAT(firstname, ' ', lastname)

That fixes the filter by name error. ;)

Exactly the same issue with me - I've just discovered it. I have only one order, and I'm running version 1.2.9

Any known fixes?

Re: [UPDATED] Export/Import module for Opencart 1.3.0

Hi there, Thanks for creating this module - the idea is excellent! Will this release work with 1.2.9? I've had a bit of trouble with the 1.2.x version version of this mod - the buttons do not show up correctly FireShot capture #7 - 'Export _ Import'.png Also, when hitting the export button, I get a ...

Re: Renwick Royale - Luxury Dog Jackets

Hey - what a nice thing to say! Thank you! :) Took a fair bit of headbanging to get everything looking decent in the 'unmentionable browser'!

I've fixed up the IE8 issue - should all be running smoothly now - thanks for the heads up!

Renwick Royale - Luxury Dog Jackets

Renwick Royale is a New Zealand company selling dog jackets and sweaters, hand knitted from Possum, Merino and Silk. The OC layout was fairly heavily customized to produce a site that was attractive and functional with only three main products.

What do you think of it? Comments appreciated!

Re: How does this program notify you that a sale has been made?

The admin should always be available from any remote computer via http://yoursite.com/admin just sign in with the credentials you created when setting up. You could always try specifically http://yoursite.com/admin/index.php, though I don't know that that is any different.... If you cannot sign in f...

Re: Anyone interested in a bare bones theme?

Hi readyman, thanks for your input. As a matter of fact I know what you mean about using others templates etc. Unless I've been the one to create the styles and layout the page, it can be confusing and time consuming trying to figure out someone else's code. Perhaps the idea is a little redundant, a...

Re: Alternative to Javascript for cart submit?

Sorry to be a complete dum dum, but could you give me a hint as to how I should do this: Instead you can move the confirm code to the main callback function right before the update order step. I've tried a number of things (copying various bits into the php) but nothing has worked - just about ready...

Re: Alternative to Javascript for cart submit?

Hi Daniel, Thanks for your reply! Perhaps I wasn't quite clear in my previous posts - I have reverted all the buttons to standard inputs - I've removed all the onclick attributes, and instead made each "submit" button an input like so: <input type="submit" value="<?php echo $continue; ?>" class="but...

Anyone interested in a bare bones theme?

Just gauging interest at the moment - is anyone interested in a bare bones theme, that could be controlled mainly by css? For instance, there is a reasonable amount of hard coded css in the account and checkout files (and I understand why - a newb may wipe the css file or edit it, and then bug the f...

Re: Designing a Site to Build on Open Cart - Suggestions?

One thing to remember (repost from what readyman said in another thread: If you move anything from one view to another view you will also need to move the variables from the CORRESPONDING controller file. eg. Variables from catalog\controller\module\information.php go to the information view and wil...

Hi all, I have a shop set up for a client, and I am trying to make it as compatible as possible for users with no Javascript enabled.
