Not only is it different, but it isn't even the previous captcha that was generated so it seems like that captcha is be...

Re: Gauging Interest : Forums

I just had phpBB integrated into my site, pretty cool. http://www.phpbb.com/ Who did the integration? Is it a full integration with one user login or does the user have to login twice? I am curious to know if the integration was done correctly with a bridge or if it was hacked together. Not that it...

Re: Gauging Interest : Forums

Unfortunately I have not had much time to work on this any further though I have not lost the progress I have made. I am very busy with my personally life and my work life right now, but if people are still interested I will try to get a beta release out soon. Thank you for understanding.

It is better to PM me so I see your message because if you update this topic, I will not get an email as I do not subscribe to topics themselves to keep my ...

Re: jQuery Based Featured Content Slider

Glad to see that some people have been able to get this to work. Here is something to keep in mind: you really need to know CSS to get this working properly. My site is so modified that I have the template stretched and the home page has no "modules" on it which gives me more space for lar...

Re: Gauging Interest : Forums

Hey everyone, I apologize for the lack of updates of the last few weeks. I recently started a new job as an Engineer in a local data center and have been getting my ass kicked with work. I am hoping that things will settle down soon so I can get back to developing the forum contributions that I have...

Re: [HOW TO] Speed Up Page Content

Thanks to your post and a few others tweaks in PHP and Apache (I am a Server Administrator) I went from a 73/100 score up to an 87/100 and from 510kB to 316kB. It helps that I own my server and everything is Linux based on the command line no control panels so my server is really stripped down and r...

Re: Gauging Interest : Forums

Latest Update Ok, so I have been very busy with work and the Memorial Holiday weekend (we went camping for four days to get out of the heat here in AZ). I have been working on the Admin side of things since I got back and I am proud to announce that I have implemented and have begun tweaking the Ad...

Re: Gauging Interest : Forums

Ok, well so far the basic functionality except editing posts and creating new topics is done. In other words, you can post! Hahaha! bbCode functionality is being implemented using markItUp! with the PEAR HTML_BBCodeParser plugin. This will be directly linked into the OpenCart framework. Probably not...

I wasn't disagreeing, I just don't know how long that is all going to take me to implement. That's all. I am a very busy individual. Hence the reason I was "Gauging Interest".

Re: Gauging Interest : Forums

That's a lot to start with. Haha! We will see how far I get in the next week or two. As of right now I am hoping to get a basic posting system done. From the User perspective this would include creating new topics and posting in topics. From the Admin perspective this would include: Creating Categor...

Re: Bridal Gown online shop *welcome to visit*

Nice mods but like most other people, you need to get more creative with the template. The default template is there for you to show you the modules and default look and feel and functionality. You should really think about having a custom template designed and integrated to stand you out from your ...

Re: Looking for some input please

I agree a little bit with easyhost. Overall, I think you have a great start. I wouldn't consider it done and if I were the client, I would be happy but would expect some major changes in the coming weeks/months. If you want to stand out today, you really need to get with the times and what others ar...
