Re: Recurring Subscriptions

It's a bit clearer after playing with it a bit, but I have one issue that's vexing me. One of the recurring items we wish to have is a monthly gift subscription. Depending on where the purchaser lives in the world, there would be shipping costs involved. It seems that if I'm doing a Paypal subscript...

Recurring Subscriptions

I'm having trouble getting my head around recurring payments. I've searched the forums, but I'm not having a lot of luck. Here's are two scenarios I'm trying to work through: 1. A subscription to our membership site: I'd like to have a single "product" for the site, and then have an annual...

Failover site - looking for extension

I am looking for an extension that will allow me to periodically copy my data from one server to another so that I can provide failover when there are outages on my opencart site. It seems like this one would do it: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=10...

Re: Ran into "Upload required" error

No - I can actually upload up to 150MB files through cPanel, so I don't see that they would have any great objection to uploading them via PHP. I can scp files over 1 GB (at least that's the largest I've tried). But it seems like it's 10MB issue. I've successfully uploaded almost that high, but thes...

Ran into "Upload required" error

My PDF sizes are getting larger! And I ran into the "upload required" error. I suspect that the settings in my php.ini are responsible, but it shouldn't be the "size": magic_quotes_gpc = Off; register_globals = Off; default_charset = UTF-8; memory_limit = 128M; max_execution_time...

Re: Downloads area is not showing all orders

Okay - I've figured it out, and I need to change my config.php file. When I first moved my shopping cart from one server to another, I put it in a directory on the server called "shop". Then I decided to reinstall, and put it in a directory called "store". Other things that I cha...

Re: Downloads area is not showing all orders

I'm tempted to try reuploading it yet again. Not only is it not showing for prior purchasers, but now NEW purchasers are also not seeing the download available. I've had numerous reports of people telling me that the download screen shows 1 of 6, but only 4 items available, etc. I'm going to try to ...

Downloads area is not showing all orders

I have a product that needed to be updated, so I uploaded the new version of the book and clicked the button to push to previous purchasers. I can see the download availability both by just looking at their orders in OpenCart, and by looking in the database itself. However, most of my customers CANN...

Re: Payment Link?

Creating a custom product for each customer would tend to clutter up the system. I'm thinking on the lines of swreg where a vendor can send a customer a "payment link" that is connected to an invoice number. And I guess it doesn't need to be OpenCart at all - it's just that since OpenCart ...

Payment Link?

Is there an extension that would allow me to create a payment link for a customer? While my cart is used primarily for selling products, I occasionally have customers who want to pay for a services invoice online. As it is, I've just created a "product' called online payment where a customer ca...

Re: adding bcc to mail.php

Hmm. Never mind. It's working now. I did move things around a bit, but it's exactly like in my post now, as is working as expected.

Thanks!

adding bcc to mail.php

I migrated my cart from 1.4x to 1.5.6 recently. Ever since then a modification I made to the mail.php file to include a bcc on messages so that I can keep a record of mail I send out is not working. I've added the bcc line like this: $header .= 'Date: ' . date('D, d M Y H:i:s O') . $this->newline; $...

Recurring Billing

I'm looking for a mod that can do recurring billing - note I am not looking for something that integrates in any way with PayPal Recurring Billing, or any other payment gateway recurring billing really. I am hoping there is a mod out there that can just automatically send an invoice on a recurring b...

Re: [BETA3] Upgrade Script 14x to 1.5.1.2 PLUS PRODUCT OPTIO

Okay - so thankfully I'm doing this on a copy of the system on a test server, because I'm having no luck! I am upgrading from 1.4.8. I disabled all of the extensions that I had added (because from reading this thread that seemed like what some folks were having trouble with), and The following error...

Re: Blank page - possible Zend issue - but complications

solved - I had used "open-" as the database prefix. Deleted everything and used "open_" and the world is all better!

Thanks.

Not really Zend I don't think.

By the way - I realize it probably isn't Zend - I started out the post thinking it might be, but then decided it wasn't and forgot to change the subject line! Oops.

Thanks

Blank page - possible Zend issue - but complications

Hi - I have an active OpenCart configuration on my site, and in another virtual host I'm trying to install a new copy of OpenCart (at http://www.hellmund.net/kbwedding/registry). It just comes up "blank". I'm getting errors in the log about PHP Notice: Error: You have an error in your SQL ...

Upgrading from 1.4.8?

My OpenCart is at 1.4.8. I see that there is 1.5.1.2 available, but 1.4.9 is considered the "stable" version. I was contemplating upgrading today simply because I wanted to feed my products to the Google Merchant Center and understand that this is built-in to the 1.5 versions. BUT, I gener...

Re: Download "latest version"

Oh - very good! Yes I'm on 1.4.8. I see 1.4.9 is also available now, so I might upgrade that - I was just half-way through all of my modifications on 1.4.8 when I noticed that :-)

Download "latest version"

I know I saw a thread on this before, but now I can't seem to find it! Can someone point me to the modification needed to allow purchasers to download "latest version"? I'm getting ready to add a new eBook to my site, and I can almost bet I'll have changes between now and sometime next wee...
