are you able to use sql commands in your database?
go to your cpnel, select phpMyAdmin
select your database
then type

Code: Select all

select * from users
This will show you the admin usernames.

You don't need to make any additional copies of opencart, just 1 copy works. even if you have domainA.com & domainB.com the principle is the same, "point" both domains to the same folder within your hosting. Then opencart does the rest. When you set up a category or product you can the...

when you say 1.2, do you mean opencart from back in 2009? It sounds like its going to be a pain. You'll need to research the upgrade steps from 1.2 to 1.3 to 1.4 etc etc It'll take quite a while, and at the end of the process it mightn't even work properly. Possibly a better route (but more complex)...

The short version is: create 2 demo sub domains subA.domain.com subB.domain.com and "point" both sub domains to the same folder on your web host. i.e. public_html/shop Install opencart to the first sub domain and then go through the admin and add an extra store. So you'll have Shop1 subA.d...
