One more about SMTP & Gmail

Hi all people
I have problems with the SMTP configuration. Email protocol works with Contact form email, but not with Hotmail, and nothing works for new order email notification. I read several threads in the forum support, but I can't found any successful solution.
I've tried to enable SMTP in Email settings of OCv1.4.8b but don't works.

With next configuration (SMTP Postfix v2.5.5 installed)
Use SSL: Yes
Mail Protocol: Mail
Alert Mail: Yes
Additional Alert E-Mails: Some other emails...
The OC behavior is: Contact form send the email to any account, except to hotmail. But it can't send the order email notification when a order has been created.

With:
Use SSL: Yes
Mail Protocol: SMTP
SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Username: myaccount@gmail.com
SMTP Password: mygmail_account_pass
SMTP Port: 465
SMTP Timeout: 5
Alert Mail: Yes
Additional Alert E-Mails: Some other emails...
The OC behavior is: nothing works...

I've tried to with a user@mycompany.com account provided by google apps through my domain accounts configuration, not a @gmail account, but neither works...

Can somebody help me in this issue?... Some body have achieved this?

After read & try, I'm sure
- my IP address is no in a blacklist after lookup it
- using my local Postfix sends emails from contact form to the store email account only if this is miaccount@gmail, because it doesn't can with a hotmail account...

This is late, but the solution is to put
instead of SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
use SMTP Host : ssl://smtp.gmail.com

I have all the same settings above and use ssl://smtp.gmail.com and it still doesn't work for me
