I have seen the other thread regarding this issue but It didn't help so I have two questions.

This is the error that I am getting:

Fatal error: Class 'DB\stdClass' not found in /home/content/c/r/u/cruxms/html/system/library/db/mysql.php on line 39

I did notice that I have a config.php and config-dist.php on my FTP im not sure how they both got there, could this be causing that issue?

Second question can I just install 2.0 fresh with out doing the upgrade and then restore from my back up ? I did a back up on my old version of OC right before I tried to update.

I did the back up on the site under settings but I do not think all of the files got backed up from my ftp.

So I just need some guidance.

The guidance is:

1) DON'T UPGRADE and,
2) Use the known fix.

If you only backed up using OpenCart's backup/restore utility you're likely going to have a lot of trouble reverting back to a previous version.

Couldn't I go back to the previous version that I was running? and then use the restore feature?

OpenCart's backup feature doesn't save the database structure unfortunately so you'll likely have problems.
