for OpenCart 1.4.9

You can upload and link a PDF to a product. The PDF document is stored in the downloads directory with a token. (similar to OpenCart downloads files)

I don't really understand why you would do this instead of using the download and just adding a checkbox for "public download" or something like that in the product area, since 90% of it is just download code duplication imo
