External Image Support
Would be nice to have the ability to host images from third party websites

hey would be cool if opencart supported Amazon s3, so every images and downloads in the store can be uploaded to s3 and served from there

Dollar, in the description field you can load images from other web sites just by typing in the appropriate HTML commands.

I don't think that's the point. I think he's speaking of product images etc, not additional images in description.
Would be good to have this, though certainly not a top priority by any stretch...

Agreed, this featured would be awesome, crowded sites could save tons of bandwidth if images hosted somewhere like photobucket.com. not to mention the loading time would be faster no matter the hosting plan.
Please guys consider this option if not too hard.
