How to set admin category permission

I want/need to set my category permissions for my admins, as I have several product categories and salesagents (admins) who have access to some but not all.
I know the opencart system does not let me do this, but there are similar systems for customers. So I was thinking/hoping it can be done for admins as well.

Does anybody know an extension which can do this?

Extensions on the Marketplace already can provide this functionality; Categories Permissions.

Euh, well, as I stated in my first post.

I can only find extensions which would allow me to limit acces to/hide admin menu's for moderators/admins (users). But not for product categories, products or information pages.

I have severall salesagents (users), who I want to give access to the admin side of the shop (OC 2.3.0.2) so they can add/edit orders for customers in their region/their brands. I'm not able to find an extension which allows me to limit the (back and front-end access) for users to categories, products and information pages.

While the information pages may be an additional feature to consider, the orders can already be edited via the API on recent OC versions. As per the region modification, I wouldn't suggest that approach for security reasons but there is, however, a recent extension that does allow store owners to deal with the customers' cart in order to make advanced adjustments from the admin-end. I don't recall where that topic is on the forum but even I provided the vote on this one as I am sure it could be useful to many users.

If I ever find it and no one else posts it prior, I will post it.

Forgot to add, but to edit the orders from the admin side, I'm using the Order Entry extension. Which gives me a huge amount of edit abilities already. As also the abilities to assign customers to specific salesagents/users. But it doesn't allow me to set the product/category permissions for these users.

Contact the extension developer for possible implementation of your request.

Yes, not gonna happen. I have a third party who wants to, but costs are running. So we will see..
