Hello,
I am running opencart v 3.0.2.0. and Journal Theme v 2.16.2. I am getting spam through my contact page, even though I have installed basic captcha.
I've switched to Google reCAPTCHA and I can submit contact form without solving captcha or clicking on I'm not robot. Can someone explain is this is a bug or normal? Any help much appreciated.

I think he want to submit form only when solve captcha.

open captcha file in catalog/controller/extension/captcha/google.php
find 20th line
if (empty($this->session->data['gcapcha'])) {
replace with
if (empty($this->session->data['gcaptcha'])) {
there is a "gcaptcha" spelling mistake by default.
