cart dropdown is empty unless page refresh

Version: 3.0.2
Friends, I am having a strange issue. whenever a product is added the minicart at the header updates the item number but its dropdown is not updated unless the page is refreshed. Same happens when u remove a product from the mini cart .. the item number is updated but the mini cart still shows that product unless the page is refreshed.
Can you help me find and fix this issue please?

I found the solution. the new version of OC 3.0.2 is very precise on its HTML structure and classes. I wrapped the mini cart into a div rather than the UL which was default. to fix this issue all i had to do was copy the CSS classes from that div to the UL and remove that wrapping div.

This is very very bad thing i am experiencing at many places in OC 3.0.2 that one has to go out of the theme folder to tweek there predefined JS file sometimes when we want just want to add a class to a button.
Kindly do not make OC to be like DNN .. keep up your standard
