[SOLVED] How to Add Categories to Offcanvas sidebar

OC Version:2.3.0.2
Theme: Lexus_store
I have been working on updating our OC from 1.5.6.4 to 2.3.0.2 I am only a basic coder and have been having many issues with the conversion. I am looking to make our new site look/work just like our old one.

1. I am trying to get my offcanvas sidebar to look like (image 1) omnicubed.com it currently looks like (image 2) omnicubed.com/dev/

I would like to know how to add categories, and have the product sections show all the way open like in the example first image, and change colors ( i did inspect element and changed the section in my bootstrap.css but it didnt change the color on the site im not sure if it is controlled somewhere else.

nope, I have quite the laundry list of issues and have been trying to ask them in the correct section of forums.

The one you linked too is search bar not functioning (image 1) second is how to make a product with zero price not show the price section.

This one is about an offcanvas menu, for example when you look at the site with the window really small or on a device, it only shows 2 categories instead of all of them. see images in previous post.

Since this issue is about an installed extension, either contact the extension developer or site support on the marketplace extension page to resolve this issue.

I don't believe the sidebar is a mod. I was just hoping to know how to add more too it.

A theme is also an extension. This is what was meant on my previous post. According to your screenshots above, those images shows a custom theme.
