I buy a certain product from a supplier and create single items from this whole bulk order.
Now, I've created the single products that but I'm trying to figure out how I can keep track of the inventory.
For example: As one item, I want it to be able to subtract from my whole stock of that item.
I am unable to understand how I can if its possible to do so.
Here is another example:
I purchased 24 of BSN-06, 24 of BSW-08, 24 of BSN-03 and 24 of BSN-04.
I create different single items that have these items in it.
I want to be able to subtract whatever is sold from each of these item stock.
Is this possible? Anyone got any ideas?
If I read you right then there is no built in way to deal with that, though I think there may be extensions that may, start at 'Bundled Products' perhaps?
I couldn't be bothered to get complicated about it so When i bought product A, B and C and listed them in the store along with product D (being a product made up of A, B and C) I simply assiged created an amount of product D from the individual items and then listed those with a given stock figure (however many sets I had made) and then listed the individual items with the remaining stock.
That was alright for what I was doing but may not work for you.

Yeah, that is somewhat of what I am doing with this situation. I was just wondering if there was a easier way to do it.
So, I guess I'll stick with it.
Thanks for your info.
