Hi,

I have successfully tested my OpenCart at TSLDesigns.com/shop and payment thru Paypal was successful. However, when I checked on Account/Order History/ It shows transaction as 'CANCELLED'

So I googled around and found this solution but the problem still persist.

1. Login to your admin back-end.
2. Go-to System
3. Go-to Settings
4. Click Options Tab
5. Find the "Order Status" value and set the proper setting. (What setting should I set so that I wont show cancelled but processed? I think I selected processed, but it still showed up as Cancelled for the payment! Please help someone. I'm confused.

Regards,
Diana

Hi,

You need to go to Extensions >> PayPal Payments Standard >> and select the order status tab

here you will see a list of all status and choose the correct ones

Now I have selected order status tab and listed of all status accordingly to the correct one labels.

I have checked again my test order that got thru Paypal for USD1 and now it says 'Pending'. What should I do so that the order history or order status will list as Processed? Should I key in something and acknowledge that item had been sent? Is there another feature that I am Not aware of in OpenCart which I ought to know as a seller to informt the buyer that item had been sent or processed?

Regards.

Once Paypal takes the payment and the customer lands on the success page it would normally set the order to processing.

then once we have sent the goods we normally go into the order and manually enter the tracking / shipped process
make sure you have paired the correct one in the admin section like below

Thanks Crissy,

Also how do I create a weekly newsletter or newsletter on an adhoc basis to announce of any seasonal sales like x-mas, etc?

Can I include pictures into the newsletter?

So that means I don't have to use the free MailChimp and instead use OpenCart Newsletter and also capture emails?
