I am a general novice at all things web-related. I am trying to create a connection to my OpenCart store via the API. I've read a dozen articles about connecting and most of them reference a do_curl_request that's part of a login.php or common.php file. I have no idea how to actually use this information. Can someone provide me a FULL example of what the login request looks like? I'm not talking about http://my-open-cart-domain.com/index.php?route=api/login. That doesn't help me. I need to know how to ACTUALLY use the login method to pass the username and key.
