Hi,

Im using OC 1.5.6.4 and recently bought from PavoThemes the Pav Cosmetics.

In so many ways I like the theme but I have problems with the display. Ive tried to email to seller and they look at my site http://www.sex.is but dont see the same problem as I.

Can you check the same product both in mobile and desktop and if you have the time send me the screenshots? Ive tried in few computers and phone but always get the same.

Its explained in this video on youtube :

Back in 2016 I built two sites using Pavo themes (at the request) of the client at the time I brought a dev lic mainly for the theme support it offered. The client recently came back after their son had try to help them and really screw this up. So I explain to the client because so many tpl files had been changed it would be better to put the template back as it was.

So now the Pavo bit over to their site login to find that none of the themes are available in my download area (ok my lic was valid until july 2016) contact support and explained I need access to a couple of historic themes, and was told that my lic had expired and if i wanted access I would have to buy a new lic. Although the lic I brought stated all updates in line with opencart versions.

Their support is rubbish of the four times I contacted them I was told send us a screenshot or a video and we can help, so i did and got the response "Sorry Mate" our devs will look into it. (I fixed it myself)

So don't buy a Pavo theme unless you have time to burn it looks pretty but more trouble than they are worth.

Mod if this is the wrong place please move it

Most OpenCart themes are a nightmare because of not sticking to OpenCart standards.

Export/Import Tool * SpamBot Buster * Unused Images Manager * Instant Option Price Calculator * Number Option * Google Tag Manager * Survey Plus * OpenTwig

Yes I remember that post very interesting reading, I don't often voice my opinion but I was so gobsmacked at Pavo Themes response and they sell in the OC Marketplace - Themeforest and the like.

I was going to post the full support ticket from Pavo, but was not sure if that was within the OC Forum Guidelines.

All of the mods I have purchase through OC / Envato have been very well supported and update, and access to the historic item you purchased.

well, I don't plan to defend Pavo, but one needs to make sure, to make a site work,
as it should, and this theme would only display everything it could, if linked correctly.

This, since, as configured, the correct LINK, in the first Posters Comment, is NOT:
http: //www .sex .is
BUT:
http: // sex .is

and such MUST be fixed first, by use of an .htaccess rewite Routine, such as:

Code: Select all

# SEO URL Settings
RewriteEngine On
#Force (http host) non www to www (optional)
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L]
#Force (https host) non www to www (optional)
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^www\.
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L]
And in my presently used 1.5.6.5 bootstrap type Theme, the
theme/default/js/jquery.min.js
does no function, if addressed the 'wrong' http-way, so, possibly, similar
things could happen with other themes as well...
