Hi there,

I am having trouble installing this extension: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... e=0&page=1

I have followed the instructions perfectly and i get no install errors, but i cannot seem to find the installed module or there seem to be no changes to my open cart so i am able to use this extension?

If anyone could help me with what to do that would be great!

I am using Open Cart version 2.0.3.1

It doesnt have a page in admin, its an ocmod, it applies it changes after you clicked refresh in admin > extension > modifications.

Hi there,

Thanks, but i have clicked refresh many times and it does not appear.

I feel like there is an issue with the extension installer because even vqmod extensions i install do not appear in the module list

I am not sure how to check or fix it?

thanks for the assistance, but the thing is i am not getting any error messages at all.

the installer gives me a green success message and says all is installed properly.

I just am not able to see anything in the modules list after this? I have waited and refreshed many times and still nothing is appearing.

I am at a loss and cannot find any answers after much searching

It is possible that the OCMod package from the location you downloaded it ffrom may not have either added or located the files and folders to their proper locations. I just tried on my end with OC v2.2.0.0 release and I do see a change after hitting refresh.

Hi everyone!

I have solved it!!!

I had to upload the XML file into the vqmod/xml folder. I was trying to upload using the Extensions Instalelr and i got a success message every time, but it must not have really been working.

After uploading the same file to the vqmod/xml folder all works perfectly!

Thanks for reporting this. An OCMod tag versus a VQMod tag should be identified in each associated XML files in order to avoid these confusions in the future.

I have the same issue as you. I tried to install one ocmod extension and there were no any error massage appearing with installation. However, I could see any thing happen.

I did the the same thing as you: upload XML into vqmod/xml but this made me could not access my website. Any suggestions? thanks in advance.
