Hi all, I currently have my online store set up, it's gears and working fine (as soon as I workout the aust post issue thingy).

But what I currently do is have the online store running and then I do almost weekly markets where I offer customers the option to purchase using credit/debit cards using paypal here machine. What I want to be able to do is link everything, so what I sell at the market will automatically come off the opencart inventory in the online store, so that we get a live feed of stock availability. Does this make sense??

Does anyone know of a way to do this? Please let me know if you do!!!

Cheers

The paypal here app, I'm happy to change to something that will mesh with opencart, but ATM it's just been the app that comes with the machine.

Hi sarah123,

there's quite a few different ways to do this.

You can run your market stall via a web-connected laptop and let customers do the sale themselves (registered or as guest)

You can get a module that lets you add sales directly from the Admin console as though a customer did the sale

You can by OpenCart POS extensions

You can enable free checkout for a customer group that only you are part of, and register the sale yourself (that way you know all sales under your name are from the market), but your sales values will be out of wack with paypal.

There's other ways if you want more suggestions.

By the way, what is your Aust Post issue ?

Hi Sarah,

Did you get a solution to the PayPal Here integration with OpenCart?

I am currently use OpenCart (v1.5.5.1) to sell online and I am now looking for a POS system to integration with the website in my shop.

PayPal Here is something i have looked into and would prefer but i can't find anything which integrates it with OpenCart. Of course if there is any other POS system instead which work well i would be keen to look into them.

Thanks,
Terry

Right now we are doing it this way we run translations with the new onePOS opencart mod. Then use a second device to do the PayPal here transitions with PayPal's EMV Bluetooth chip reader I know that PayPal has released SQL code to do a interface with the Bluetooth reader and links to the PayPal service. I believe that the pos would have to be a iOS or Android app to uses the service as you need the touch screen for sig capture. But I have not look and the SQL code but If it could be done I would purchase that extention Like yesterday.
