I have been searching anywhere I could think of but can't find anything about Extensions - Affiliates menu
Can anyone shed a glimpse of light to what that menu is for?
I'm going to add Affiliates modules their. people sign up to sites like commision junction. you enter your username and password and affliate code. The code is loaded on the front end and will alert the aaffliate program you have joid whenever you get a sale.

After saying you are not doing to be doing more, except bug fixes, when will the affiliate mod be done?
Not looking for date and time, but week, month, quarter, year would be nice.
Where does that fit in the overall scheme of things?
I am asking because I want exactly what you describe and a fairly short time span will suit me, but something distant will mean another product.

Just wondering with the "upgrade" directions you gave, Daniel....what versions that will work for? I think you earlier said that there were no database changes from 1.3.4, but is that still the case with the multi-shop addition and so on? So, just wanted to know what versions can do an upgrade via this method? Thanks...

Regarding the affiliate module I would suggest a look into Affiliates For All http://www.affiliatesforall.org/. This is an open source project as well. Works currently with Magento and someone also created an implementation for Prestashop. Should be fairly easy to make it work with opencart as well.
I would create that module myself but have a little trouble understanding the whole modules / extension concept of opencart. Unfortunately there isn't a lot of documentation out there and I am not an experienced PHP programmer (my strength is ASP.NET / SQL Server).
