Just happened to reread thread and noticed that where "Enable this mod only removes an underscore from the extension.xml_ file to make it extension.xml and thus make it live" it should be taken very seriously, since that is a piece of cake compared to multiple extension shifting in order to fire rogue .php files (e.g., http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php ... 60#p440953).

robchef, short answer is, either or other else. For local see http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=5058 and read the fine print for where to get it not git it. That one comes with reindeer, reins, sleigh, and boots, all ya gotta do is suit up to make toys and drive it. For the intrepidly adventuresome there is also downloadable a zero-byte version.

Thank you, uksitebuilder, both (get it, git it) versions are nifty, nifty. And for the mirth in camouflaging the link rather than using what would seem obviously the way outside.

The tool however, is now available for download for use on your own server so you can interact with your own mods, test and edit them

The tool Includes file creation, file editing, file manager, cache viewer and log viewer.

In addition to this tool we have also released a local development version of the OpenCart v1.5.1.3.1 with this tool and vqmod pre-installed, which will allow you run opencart on a local Windows machine without the hassle of having to set-up your own PHP, mySQL stack
