i JUST PURCHASED DOWNLOAD AUTO INSERT. iT'S NOT WORKING. i AM RUNNING 1.5.3.1. i AM SELLING JPG'S. NO ZIPPED FILES. FOLLOWED THE INSTALLATION README. UPLOADED A FEW FILES BUT THEY DON'T SHOW UP IN ADMIN/DOWNLOADS OR IN INSERT PRODUCTS. hOW CAN i GET THIS TO WORK?

Firstly you don't use ALL CAPS TO GET PEOPLE TO ANSWER YOU!!!
It doesn't help you in any way, in fact quite the opposite since people will more than likely ignore you completely (hence nobody replying at all for days). The first thing I think when people do it is "This person is irritating already". It's not putting you in good stead whatsoever

The simple advice is contact the developer. They have an email address. If it doesn't work and you can't get a reply from the developer, request a refund from OpenCart (webmaster@opencart.com) which will get your issue seen to FAR quicker

Hey before you start calling someone irritating you need to know what you are talking about. I didn't realize that I had the caps on. Sorry to irritate you.

This was not a freebie, I purchased in in good faith now twice. The first time it was from Qphoria it worked well but he quit supporting it. They upgraded it again, I purchased because it was supposed to work for the 1.5.3. I did contact Daniel about the problem but didn't hear anything back. Your post is irritating and really hurts the cash paying people.
I don't see even one irritating word in the headline. Try to get over being so thin skinned.

Erhm, back to the point, I'm experiencing the same problem. Had it working fine on 1.5.1.3, but it seems to have stopped working since I upgraded to 1.5.3. Did you manage to find a solution yet, zelda?

Otherwise I'll have a look at it tomorrow and will post back when I have it working again.

@zelda: Change line 43 of the download.php file from

to

      $data['filename'] = $filename;

That should fix the problem.
