is there a way to delete the left column categories and

i would like to create my own spry menu in dreamweaver as a substitute to the column-left vertical categories menu.


we want something like this

however , we want the links on the mega drop down menu to remain as they are only the vertical menu on the left we want to add our own links that will redirect the costumer to the product page

In admin > extension > modules , edit the Categories module and disable it for all layouts. Then make your own menu as you wish and use one of the html modules to display it on your website.

in what file should i edit it ?
i will also need blank pages for each categorie. how can i create blank pages with only the header and the footer???

As mentioned above, you can disable the categories module from admin, no need for any file to be edited. As for your new request, I dont get it.

you said i can create a menu as i wish with my own links , but i do not understand how i make that menu after i disable it on the admin panel and as for the new request i meant that i need to create additional products pages for each link that i will create on my own vertical menu because it is going to be at least 30 links that will redirect to its own page where the products are
