3rd Party Template Question

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to review my quesion. I am helping a friend out with his website. He wants to purchase a template from algozone.com for his store.

His store software is version 1.4.9.6

algozone.com shows 1.4.9.5 and 1.4.8b as the versions for the template he likes. Which one do I buy??

Or would both of them not work??

I would appreciate any suggestions you may have.
