Thanks Xsecrets for the quick response :) , will give that a try.

One other question, where should I look if I want to change the colours(I assuming it's called the theme)

For example the blue bar running across on the homepage with the search bar and also the background colour of the Module title name, like that for Specials.

You would need to edit the individual images for that
/catalog/view/theme/default/image/

Ok, thanks Jay6390.

I am still getting my head around which files to change and how. I understand they are the.png images.

I want the special & featured product header colour to be different to the main header colour.

You would need to create new images for those in that case, and add the style to your css for those modules. You would probably need to add id's to the module div's in their templates so that you can identify them easier in the css file

Hi Jay,

Would there be a how guide or a bit more details on how I would go about doing these changes.

Or would someone have some spes on how to do this if done already.

Thanks.

The changing of images is discussed quite a few times so you should be able to find something recent. As for the css changes, i've not seen anything to document how it's done sorry no

You will need to change all of the following to change the name of Specials

/catalog/language/english/module/special.php
/catalog/language/english/common/header.php
/catalog/language/english/information/sitemap.php
/catalog/language/english/product/special.php

Same as above but for Latest and Featured should work, If you are having problems just download all files in the language directory and use Dreamweaver or a similar program to do a search and replace on the whole folder for the string you want to change.

Creativerty wrote:/catalog/language/english/common/header.php
Slight change required here, in place of header.php it should be footer.php.
Change the text 'Specials' to whatever text you want.

Ooooh so Opencart uses the same GREAT policy as Presta? Editing php files?
Who thought of that??? And what happens when I update the script?
Has anyone ever heard of backend translation, in some kind of the panel? You have one, don't you?
Why do you make people struggle with such petty things????
