Creating Static/Blank Pages

I am trying to create static/blank pages for my site.

I want to be able to get a blank page just like "about us" and create more of them under new names.

Does anyone know how to do this?

You can create these by clicking Catalog -> Information in your admin. Information pages are the way to create pages with information or other text/images.

yer but they fall under "information" tab on the bottom of the site. I don't want them to appear anywhere, i will create links myself to them.

Someone recently told me you could achieve this by setting sort order to -1. Give that a go!

I have been looking for a way to add blank pages for ages, so I was pleased when I came across this post.

I would like to use this method of creating a bunch of pages and then linking them from the top menu, but when I set the sort order to -1 they are still there at the bottom in the information section.

I am using version 1.5.2.1. Does this function still exist or am I missing something? Is there some other way to stop the pages from appearing at the bottom? Do I need to refresh the opencart cache in some way?

i recommend you refresh your internet cache.

The -1 should remove the link for the bottom of the page. Worked for me

Still not working. I'm a bit of a newbie at all this. Any other ideas?

In the information module at the bottom there is a page called Education Center (which is not started, let alone finished). In the admin the sort order for that page is set to -1 but it's still there (on my end anyway).

This feature has been disabled as explained here:

For anyone else out there, this setting the sort order to -1 no longer works. You should download an extension to get the function back.
