Hi guys.
I know the OC team is doing something new, so I'm a bit confused. The changes in SVN, are those automatically getting put into the latest download that's 1.5.2.1, or does there still have to be a 1.5.2.2 release?
It seems like since .1 there have been a lot of bug fixes, and the latest release was 15 days ago.
Thanks

SVN has a v152 branch under branches. That is where you should be updating from if using svn with version 1.5.2.x.
It is sure to contain all bug fixes that have been made since the release of "1.5.2"
I also have a stable nightlies script that runs and makes zip files of the changed files between the current release version and the last svn revision for that branch. I will be creating a spot on the opencart.com site soon (something like nightly.opencart.com) and the latest update zip will be available there.
Also working on a way to automatically update directly from the admin to the latest revision here:

Should I be getting the latest SVN code from
http://opencart.googlecode.com/svn/branches/v152/
or from
http://opencart.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
I ask because I'm confused. It looks to me like the trunk contains Daniel's fixes but the branch/v152/ contains the postocde typo fix
Am I seeing things.

Yeah is very confused and maybe to Daniel dont like this too, this can provocate a big accident for the followers, the typo postocde Daniel change back yesterday, some reason must have. Now i follow both (trunk and branch) and i make comparisons (result for the moment: equal)jty wrote:Should I be getting the latest SVN code from

Both should contain the postcode fix.jty wrote:Should I be getting the latest SVN code from

Daniel makes changes to trunk.. which may or may not be stable for 1.5.2
I look at what has changed and determine if it is 1.5.2x safe.
If it is, then I merge it over to the 152 branch.
You should always be using the 152 branch or the branch for your current version.
Thank-you Q & Celestial. I understand now.
I'll use the branch per Q's advice but I'll also do like Celestial and get the trunk so I know what to expect
There's still a couple of postocde typos in the trunk but at least I now know there is a delay between the 2.
