I'm using a cart inside Wordpress right now which is OK but not optimal. I want to switch over to Opencart for many obvious reasons. However, I need a feature that I can't seem to find either in the core or extensions.

My current cart lets me specify an affiliate link to purchase a product instead of "Add to Cart" -- so it is actually a link that says "Buy Now" and takes the customer out to that affiliate page (Amazon products, in my case).

Is there any way to implement this feature as an extension or otherwise?

Here's a link to a current page on my site in case my description above is too confusing:

Thank in advance for any help or advice. If this is an extension worth writing we would be willing to pay a small fee for it.

Cheers,

Chris

You would need someone to do a mod for you as this is not the way opencart is designed to work.

Running Opencart v3.0.3.2 with multi-stores and the default template from https://www.labeshops.com which has links to all my stores.

With the Amazon API, it is possible by modifying the product.tpl file by modifying the Add To Cart DIV block and to replace the content with the Buy Now button specifically by each product names that you may have on Amazon. However, you'd need an Amazon API account in order to accomplish this as it is not something really hard to implement. :)

Thanks for the help guys. You got me to thinking about it and I successfully created a VQMod to replace the add to cart with my own link. Now just to style it nicely and implement.

Appreciate the suggestions!
