TheQdomain.com is now OpenCartGuru.com
http://OpenCartGuru.com
I have decided it was time to upgrade to 1.5.x and a decided to change the name as well.
I whipped it together in about an hour so I've still got some theme work to do.
Anybody out there want to create a new logo for me? It might be too early as I haven't yet decided on a theme or theme colors but perhaps some logo ideas because my graphic skills are limited to MS Paint.
Q: Why the name change?
A: The old name really didn't define what the site was about. This made it harder to find the site, and led to confusion on credit card statements when people didn't remember what "The Q Domain" was. The new name clarifies exactly what it is for.
Q: Can I still see my orders/downloads from the old site?
A: Absolutely. I just did the normal upgrade and then moved to a new domain. Your old account data stays the same.

I like those with the "on/off" button. Might give us a chance to turn him off from time to time.

I never changed it before.. this is the first time.
I changed the url 2 years ago from unbannable the theqdomain because unbannable was just some old test site and the store got bigger. But it was still called "The Qphoric Domain"
So this is my first name change

I like that OCG logo too... I was thinking, since each word is 4 letters long, it can do some cool things..
How about something stacked like
Open
Cart
Guru
I also like the inclusion of the "Q" power button from my old logo

Even better than what I was thinking
Tho the colors.. I'm not tied to blue and red... maybe a black and red or black and orange
and maybe make guru stand out a bit diff from the "open" and "cart"
damn im picky

If you changed your domain name, isnt that going to affect your google rating?

Re: TheQdomain.com is now OpenCartGuru.com
Still thinkin on the logo, but in the mean time, I have found your BigCart3 theme to be fantastic!
Excellent job! I made some small changes to the product boxes to squeeze a bit more room and I think it turned out very well.
I am open to any criteria or advice. I'm terrible at theming and I'm sure some color variations might clash a bit, but that's just how it goes.
I've got a "wiggle" script on the site that randomly wiggles images on the site. I found it to be subtle but entertaining. I've gotten mixed reviews on it so I'm open to opinions on that too.

It's quite subtle, and adds a bit of fun to the site. So there's another opinion.

Re: TheQdomain.com is now OpenCartGuru.com
Since there are long product names , I think the padding of the sidebar box should be removed.
I see the old seo urls redirect to the homepage of opencartguru.
I found this piece of code that worked on redirecting the seo urls to the same page on the new site for me.
Maybe it will help:

Ah yea.. thank you.. I had this redirect from my old-old site but lost the file.
