Yay! Opencart has made it through the first round.

Thanks to everyone's nominations, Opencart is now a finalist in the PacktPub Open Source Awards 2011 [Category: Open Source Business Application].

voted. much simple than magento.
i looking to control each categories and product by different user. only allow user edit their own categories and product. and other categories and product wont show at their admin page.
does open cart have this feature??

@annelim it would be gret if you could post the last part of your question in the general support forum... but anyway... there is a mod for this... i saw it the other day... do an extension search and see what you come up with...

done with full heart... :)..


i just love opencart..its best of all...its best package with no modification required..

to make it complete although it just needs 2 more things..
1.Different product template for different products..can be done through-->create manufacturer category/or category type..and assign each to one template.so product in those manufacture/category type would automatically choose the set typlate...

Above code can be also given an advantage of setting different featured/special/ products on different tymplate..according to category type..

2.Different shipping option and tax according to those new category type in manufacturer or category..

I believe daniel would really try incorporate these features in next version to migrate.
