Hi there,

Anyone know of a module that allows me to have multiple quantities and prices for each product?

I am trying to create a site to sell say business card print. So the customer can have a business card in set qtys at set prices.

e.g.

Qty 500 = £33
Qty 1000 = £60
Qty 2000 = £100

Any ideas?

Thank you

Is there a way to do this using attributes or options?

Well you could use product options

Product A - 20.00
- Option QTY:
---- 30pack
---- 40pack (+10.00)
---- 60pack (+20.00)

There would still be a "quantity" field but that would be the master qty for number of packs

So you could get different math
1 x 30pack
2 x 40packs
1 x 60pack
etc

Hi and thank you for helping.

I have added an option called qty and set some quantities and prices within my product.

As I don't want this to add to the default price for the product. I set the cost for the product to 0.

This works.

- How do I remove the Price: £0.00 from the product information in my store?
- Also how can the quantity in the checkout reflect the option chosen e.g. 250 if option 250 chosen within products?

Thank you

make the first option your product price, and remove the cost from the first option.

Option 250 will look exactly like that, in the checkout.

1x Product Name £cost
Option 250.

Hi there,

Not sure I understand how to do this.

If my main product is set at qty 100 for say price of £23.00 thus being the default quantity of business cards the client can buy.

The next two options set in the options are

250 - £33.00
1,000 - £50.00

If I set the options price to be either + or - an amount on top of main price then that shows in the store as option 250 - +£10.00!

This is not manageable easily for the store owner and not displaying my costs as things are normally displayed on store sites.

I just need three or more options which show the total cost for each option.

Is this not possible within opencart?

printing .com website shows quantities for business cards without it being a +£ or -£ on top of a main price.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

you have three options.

first option, is to make the product price 0, and add the prices to the options.

second option is to have a product price for 100, create an option for 100 and set the price to 0, then each next option is the difference in cost between the product price, i.e 2nd option 250 for 33.00 would be +10.00.

third option would be to search for a mod which replaces the product price with the first option price and refer to my first option.

You might find the multiple option qty mod useful as well. That will let you show full prices on the options

Hi

http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=3395

Bought this extension. Sadly, while I bought, it didn't mention any version compatibility. After the purchase, it was shown in the readme that it works only with 1.5.1

Sad that we bought it for v 1.4.9.x

The developer has not responded to any requests.

On my site there is a popup that says look for the balloon
1.4.x or 1.5.x
there is only a 1.5.x balloon on the multiple option qty

Hi, I have read all the forums for an answer to this but nobody has a good answer for this. Is it possible to have like this
for eaxmple

50 pencils $0.50
100 pencils $0.90
150 pencils $1.35
and so on. So that the more they buy the greater the discount.
This is driving me crazy now. There is nothing you can do in the options for this as I have seen many answers revert to the options. But it does not give this. Maybe there is an extension for this???

Please help :)
