Error on checkout v1.2.7

I have v1.2.7 installed, but when I'm make a new order the system show me the following error:

Error: Field 'order_status_id' doesn't have a default value
Error No: 1364

intreasting. I will add a default value on in the next version.

you need to go through your db manager and add a default value of 0.

I had the same problem but only with an upgrade. A new install was fine.

I opened up the table order_status
and for field order_status_id I turned off Auto Increment and set the Default Value to 0
I still get
Error: Field 'order_status_id' doesn't have a default value
Error No: 1364

Any thoughts
