How do you pay affiliates?

OK, I'm new to OpenCart so go easy on me.

Just how the heck to you actually pay an affiliate once they have a balance? I have payment methods set up already.

I am using 1.5.1

Usually by Cheque, or PayPal - whatever you like and/or have agreed with your affiliates.

There is no payment method set-up for affiliates.

In other words, making payments to affiliates is NOT done through OC? It sounds like I just have to manually pay them via PayPal, correct? Assuming that is correct, would I have to delete the transactions once paid?

You can add a transaction with a - value.
Then the money will be reduced from the account.
And give it the name like "payment august 2011"
