All installed and seems to be working other than dashboard.
I'm getting : Notice: Undefined variable: earthball_status in /home/****/public_html/admin/view/template/common/home.tpl on line 67
I've checked through the install and cannot see any mistakes.

How can I add bots that are not being detected?

The list of bots can be found in "system/helper/spiders.txt".AvinThat wrote:How can I add bots that are not being detected?

If you're not living on the edge ... you're taking up too much space!
Here is a an example bot I'm trying to add :
Host: 62.24.252.133
User Agent: (TalkTalk Virus Alerts Scanning Engine)
Which bit do I type into the spiders.txt?
It visits every page that one of their customers visits so double page views and visits on counter for these guests.

Can you add new information in the Counter portion of the module showing counter stats for the last 24 hours?
Can someone post their spiders.txt file? I would like to compare my spiders.txt file to the posted file with the goal of adding all known bots to my spiders.txt file. I fully understand that more and more bots are going to be added to the web. Just trying to keep my spiders.txt as up to date as posible.
Thank you.
Thank you
Try adding the "TalkTalk Virus Alerts Scanning Engine" bit from the user agent into your spiders.txt (without the quotes, of course) and see how you go.
@Brook
I've been testing a potential "f" release on my own site with the dashboard changes that i2Paq suggested, so I'll have a look at including stats for the last 24 hours into the counter. As for the spiders.txt file, the only addition I've made to mine is "bingbot", since it wasn't there. I haven't noticed any others, but I only look in on it now and then.

Undefined variable: earthball_status in /home/....../public_html/site2/admin/view/template/common/home.tpl on line 70
Code is:
Code: Select all
<?php if ($earthball_status) { ?>
The Who's online part does not show anything at all, installed according to the rules (three times) but no effect.
Tried to email fido twice the last days but no respond, maybe he did not get the email so let's try it from here....

The module will not "activate" (ie. start showing visitors) until you actually get one. The ideal place for this module is on your home page (your site's entry page). It will ignore the admin IP address and the localhost IP address. So, if you're logged in to the admin and view the store front, since the admin IP address is ignored, the module will not "activate" and you will not be recorded as a visitor. The same applies when testing on your localhost with XAMPP (or something similar).

But, place it on the homepage? Are you talking about the settings in the module, because I don't want to have the globe on my shop, I only want to use it backend but I understand that I mustactivate the storefront to see anything?
edit
Works for now, placed it on every page in the catalog and customized the earthball.tpl so there is nothing to see on the front. I did not realize that I had to activate it on the front.
Sorry.

I have added this module and enabled it on every page (Account, Category, Home etc etc) but all I can see in the Who's Online dashboard (or admin page) is when the visitor visited the `/` page. I use a different ip address on a different network to add items to a shopping cart but the admin is not updated with anything other than the `last page visited` = `/` and `Shopping Cart is Empty`. I brought this module because the client wanted to see in real time (or near enough) which pages the users are visiting and if they have any items in their shopping cart.
Please help.

You upgraded your OpenCart from 1.5.0.x to 1.5.1.3. You also need to upgrade your Earthball module to the 1513 version.

If my Earthball install is working correctly on the Admin Who's Online Page if a Customer is logged in and has Products in their Shopping Cart, the Product Name and the Product Quantity show in the Shopping Cart. Are there any plans to add Product Options to the Admin Who's Online Page "Shopping Cart" Column? This would be a big plus It would be nice to know what Product Options a customer is about to order. What code can I add to show Product Options?
Also, if a guest has Products in their Shopping Cart does the Admin Who's Online Page display Products and Product Quantities in the Shopping Cart Column of the Admin Who's Online Page, or does the "Shopping Cart" column only display products and product quantities if a Customer is actually logged in?
Thank you for your help.
