I was wondering how to set up an account or something similar that would recieve the payment of the items.

Please help ASAP

using the builtin paypal module you can set your payment email in the configuration area

I went into the configuration area, but I was unable to find what you described. Can you please provide further explaination? Thank you very much, your help is greatly appreciated.

Click the "spanner" icon. This will take you to the area you are looking for.

In your administration under "Extensions->Payment"

I went there and entered the configuration area for PayPal, changing the email from "webmaster@opencart.com" to my email. Is this all that is required?

Basically, that's all that's required. You should also set the currencies that you accept and make the extension is enabled.

But first, be sure you are running the latest version of OpenCart. It was just released about 1 hour ago. You can find it here:
http://code.google.com/p/open-cart/downloads/list 0.7.9 RC6

That has the updated, and finally working, Paypal module as well as a flurry of other bug fixes
