need help with affiliate tracking code mod

Hi all,

we have an opencart shop embedded within our main website and would like to direct affiliate links to individual custom landing home pages for each affiliate as opposed to linking directly to the opencart shop.

affiliate tracking is working but we would like to put the tracking cookie code on the main site landing pages and direct affiliate links to http://www.insideoutskiing.com/affiliate1 2 etc, and ensure that any purchases made through opencart would be tracked, would this be possible?

happy to make a small contribution to someone who could show us how to do this.

opencart version 1.5.1 main site developed on mac in rapidweaver, shop theme is Shoppica Theme CP I am a non programmer but have made css and small mods to shop.

my honest opinion is, it may be easier to port your main site over to opencart and style it the same, so affiliate tracking can be used across every page.

Theres no reason why an affiliate couldnt be redirected to a custom page, within opencart, would be quite easy.

You could have it redirect when an affiliate logs in, by using if $affiliate->IsLogged.

Obviously as it stands with the main site only hosting opencart it would require a bit of coding to carry the session over.

it looks as though someone had a solution to this but he/she is no longer on the forum, would the code as shown in the thread below work? I would need someone to give me a step by step how to implement and I would be happy to pay for the help
