因現在英語會將中文轉作問號? Thanks
May I know where I can downoad the traditional/simplified Chinese language pack?
as now it will make all the chinese character become question mark in the original download english version. many thanks.
I have found 3 chinese language packs. They where deleted from the contributions because they were under the 0.x version.

I have download the 0.7x but seems cannot installed with 1.2.8.
my step is copy and paste the language ONLY (Chinese) into the admin-->language folder.

Yeah, I would like to know the installation procedure for Chinese language pack too. Can anyone explain clearly for us?

critical point I try to make, the phpMyAdmin is working fine with the Chinese chacters regard insert/update
So, I assume the mySQL /php set up correctly with UTF8.
still no soultion.
I figure it out can add the <Meta> tap into the template folder, but still not helpful

Have done almost 1 month, Chinese still become question mark. ?
Restinall Joomla instead (I know 2 different things). and Chinese can be displayed.
I saw other by Alex. not sure and I never try.
but 1 thing for sure is not server setup issue.
Try install Joomla first if you like to test type Chinese language success or not.

更新 /system/database/mysql.php 檔案:
在第19行加入:
mysql_query("SET character_set_connection=utf8;", $this->link);
適用於Opencart 1.2.9
更新 /system/database/mysql.php 檔案:
在第19行加入:
mysql_query("SET character_set_connection=utf8;", $this->connection);

把语言包下载后，如果想要后台是中文，就把下载的中文包下admin/language/t_chinese文件夹改为english，再进入刚才改好的english文件夹中把t_chinese.php文件改为english.php
然后上传到对应的位置，替代掉原有的文件
打开后台看看哦，是中文的了吧，前台依然是英文哦，嘎嘎
如果想前台也是的话，估计是把下载的中文包下catalog/language/t_chinese文件夹改为english，再进入刚才改好的english文件夹中把t_chinese.php文件改为english.php
