If you are using two or more languages, to switch back and forth, you need to click on the language flag located on the header at the top right of the main page.

So if we wich to change the default language to Portuguese, we need to replace the language package files into the default language, right? There isn't any other way?

All the best,

No. If you are changing the settings for admin language and save and it shows English again, it is because there is another error somewhere in the settings. Usually on the first tab near the bottom you need to enter another welcome message for the new language. There is a bug that there is no error banner across the top.

Qphoria i see your point. But i disabled English and put it on 2nd sort order and portuguese in 1st sort order. But still shows English in the frontoffice has default language. Can you help me solve this?

Clear your browser cache/cookies and reload. It should load portuguese if you set that to the default in the backend

I've tried that, if i delete the english language does not work. So i did all the way around and kind of "mod" the thing, i defined English has the only language and the code has en-en then the rest of the fields pointing to portuguese definitions. It works perfectly but this shouldn't be the solution, but is working :)

You are doing something wrong then. Set it up correctly then send us a link.

You are likely forgetting to add the welcome message for the new language at the bottom of the first settings tab. So when you save, it is not actually saving. Hopefully daniel adds the warning message at the top in the next version to alert people that there is a problem, as people don't realize there is a problem since the error is only on the field.

When you save settings and don't see a green "success" message, then that means it did not save.
