Hey guys,

I hope this isn't a dumb question, but I couldn't find it in the forums. I just installed and logged into the admin interface. I get no menu (the whole admin, catalog, extensions, etc bar). I tried in both FireFox and IE. When I turn on script debugging it complains about cmThemeDefault is undefined and _cmSplit is undefined. I am able to run the admin pages by modifying the URL parameters but it makes for very slow going.

Okay I found the fix for this. The code in menu.tpl is looking for "JSCookMenu/" and "JSCookMenu.js" however after installing I had "jscookmenu/" and "jscookmenu.js".

I copied everything from "jscookmenu/" to "JSCookMenu/" and renamed "jscookmenu.js" to "JSCookMenu.js" and *poof* now I have menus.

Why would you install 0.7.6? That version is from 2 years ago.
Please install the latest version of 0.7.9

This is a non-opencart issue.

This has been seen before, search the forums for it.

We distribute JSCookMenu in exactly the same way as JSCookMenu does, the problem is the way you are extracting the files and folders from the zip file, as lower case, or your filesystem is doing it.
