I have just installed the opencart, no prob's at all except...

I am not getting the home page to load.

here is my site:
http://funkybuddy.com ..........  this link takes me to the default fedora page...

if i type in:
http://funkybuddy.com/index.php ........ then it will give me the shopping cart.

does anyone know how to fix this?
I only want to type in "funkybuddy.com" and want it to take me to the store home page.

thanks all in advance.

Are you using a hosting service? Or are you hosting yourself? Either way the issue is with the apache server, not with OpenCart.

If you are doing your own hosting, check your apache configuration file, look for "DirectoryIndex" and make sure that "index.php" is entered on this line. Also ensure that your DocumentRoot points to the correct directory.

If you are using a hosting service, it is probably just a matter of waiting until their cache clears, at which time the default page will be updated with your own.

If you're not living on the edge ... you're taking up too much space!
