This could be one hell of a tool!

I know that in the early days of PrestaShop there was such a tool and everybody loved it but because it was German and the Germans got pissed of by the French developers of PrestaShop they just stopped everything and even closed the German community of PrestaShop and the tool got lost.
I even tried to persuade the author of the tool to make it OpenSource but he just pissed me off.

I've just made a note to donate to you tomorrow to support you on this tool as it would make OpenCart even better, if not the best ;)

Let me know if I can be of more help if I can!

You can do 2 things when you do not get what you want when you want it.

Support it and find co-supporters and make the other see what is missing or needed, or Fork the project and start from there.

In case of PrestaShop they just closed the whole community and abandoned all other German users of PrestaShop (than you fellow country men!).

In case of OpenCart you just Forked it and that left you where exactly?

Personally I find you annoying as you shout, moan and complain all the time instead of contributing a solution to other Germans who want to stay with OpenCart instead of using your Fork.

Back on topic!

The main issue now is to get it working with any language active in the store.
Most OpenCart stores have multi-language so this is necessary.

I agree that deleting product or complete categories should not be possible for the same reasons you already mentioned: security and unlawful/unauthorized use of the Pc where the OpenCart Tool is installed.

I have just made a first donation, you will see the name: Tropisch bruin or CupOfCoffee.

i2Paq,
Thanks for the donation, it does support multi languages from opencart, when I mentioned it did not support multi languages, I meant the program has only a english face.

I've split this topic into: @ forks, spoons and knives ....

On a "personal" note: I'm asking you to try and keep topics on topic, I know you are enthusiastic but to many topics go off topic because of replies where I sometimes most think twice why these replies are there ;)

On topic!

While this tool seems to be good application, it runs (currently only) under Win*.
Because of this, the code is compiled.

My question now is: where is the source code to view?
Because do I know that this tool is not sending any data in the background to ?
