Since Yahoo Finances is dead and it looks like it wont get back on his feet anytime soon, I made a fix for currency rate auto updates, which currently is available for versions 2.x and 3.x, in VQMod and OCMod format. It uses the same API Key, which is free and has no limit use that I know of, but you can get a new one here : https://www.alphavantage.co/support/#api-key

I just found this post regarding the currency rate update and yahoo finance going down, I was using a extension in a clients website that updated the currency rates automatically but it used yahoo finance

I was wondering if you could write the extension to work for opencart version 1.5.6.4 please?
