Hi,
In Australia we have (GST) Goods & Services Tax. For Australian customers we add GST to products and services e.g. shipping.
I have enabled tax for products and shipping and it works well except in displayed subtotal and shipping in the cart and invoice. The problem is the subtotal and shipping (shopping cart and invoices) are shown ex-GST. The shipping method price is correct (it includes GST).
For example our checkout shows the following information:
Delivery Method:
Shipping (Registered) AU$10.00 (Correct includes GST)
Shopping Cart:
Product Name Quantity Unit Price Total
Product A X2 AU$55.00 AU$110.00 (Correct includes GST)
Sub-Total: AU$100.00 (incorrect should be $110)(showing ex-GST)
Shipping (Registered): AU$9.09 (incorrect should be $10)(showing ex-GST)
Total GST (10%): AU$10.91 (Correct Product GST + Shipping GST)
Total: AU$120.00 (Correct includes GST)
Can anyone help?
I have the same problem. need to apply HST 13% for both units sub-total and shipping charges.
The easiest solution that I see here is adding one more Taxes subtotal to Extensions -> Order Totals.
I just don't know how to duplicate it if it's possible.
The programmed Taxes variable is calculated basing on a previous variable (in my case it is shipping)
What I have now:
SubTotal 100
Shipping 30
HST 3.9
Total 100+30+3.9
I do agree to have:
SubTotal 100
< HST 13 >
Shipping 30
HST 3.9
Total 100+30+3.9
But I do not know how to duplicate it.
