i just need help to install black opencart control panel extension (for my opencart v1.5.4 version) as in this link :

Now Installation procedure states :
THIS MODIFICATION REQUIRES THAT VQMOD IS INSTALLED ***
Remember - you will need vQmod v2.1.7 if you have Opencart 1.5.4 or later installed
Now does this mean that i need to install exactly Vqmod v2.1.7 version or does this mean that i need to install vqmod version 2.1.7 or later ,which means i can use vqmod 2.2.0 version ,please let me know !
secondly i uploaded vqmod upload folder to my shop domain which is : http://www.gifthatke.com via filezilla in following way :
from left side of filezilla i found upload folder of vqmod from my pc,than selected domain http://www.gifthatke.com from R.H.S
of filezilla,now from L.h.s i clicked on upload folder and selected upload in drop down menu of filezilla and uploaded .than similarly i selected "black_upload "folder from Black opencart control panel zip folder and uploaded it to my shop domain : http://www.gifthatke .com.
is this right way to upload vqmod and black opencart extension ,plz tell.thanx in advance !
GUYS LATEST UPDATE ON MY EFFORT ;
I tried INSTALling vqmod on my test subdomain.i installed VQMOD V2.2.0 ,THAN TYPED test1.gifthatke.com/vqmod/install where test1.gifthatke.com is my test subdomain ,i get message that vqmod is install on your site.so vqmod is suceesful.than i uploaded " black _upload" folder at my subdomain wer i installed vqmod ,to upload black opencart control panel extension.
but wen i logged in to my opencart admin panel i didnt see uploaded extension & i see old control panel only.
so i went to filezila,deleted black _upload folder and vqmod.than installed vqmod v2.1.7 .to check weder vqmod is suceesfully installed i typed test1.gifthatke/vqmod/install ,but i get fatal error message.see files attached.so i deleted this version of vqmod and checked my test subdomain site again ,but still getting same fatal error message.
please note i have opencart store instaslled on my test subdomain : test1.gifthatke.com ,previously ,which was loading successfully b4 installation of vqmod v.2.1.7.but now i get error message.
plz tell me how to get rid of this fatal error and get my store online again and than get black opencart extension on this store.
