I am have opencart (1.5.4.1) in a Joomla installation, by using Joocart.

I want to sell events which are displayed in another Joomla component via opencart.
By using a content plugin that allows to sell products in other components, this works fine.

BUT, the price for each event can vary endlessly, dependent on what the user selects of possible discounts and extras in the other Joomla component.

So my non-techinical description of my need is:

1. A user selects an event, possible discounts and extra additions in the other Joomla component, and this gives him a unique price.

2. When pressing "Book this event" the information about the event, discounts, extras and unique price is placed in a table in the database

3. Opencart picks up this information and price and displays it in the cart

I have some programmers who will work on this connection, but is there an extension that can help me in this process also?

Here is a screen shot of how the other Joomla component generates the price:

Thanks for input.

I wish I could help on this one, but I just wanted to see if you ever figured things out?

I haven't yet. And my programmers are slightly complaining about Joocart, so I am not sure which direction to take.

to be honest, what you require is something you should be speaking to the creators of JooCart about. Its not really an opencart issue since you want to push data from the joomla client to opencart.

I doubt you will get any takers here.

I know, and I have contacted them also, but the information coming from there is currently quite meager... I just want to check in all direction before I start making something custom, so I don't end up inventing the wheel again...
