[SOLVED] Installation of UNLIMITED Additional Customer

Postby opencomrob » Tue Aug 07, 2012 9:42 pm

I just purchased OpenCart and the UNLIMITED Additional Customer Info Fields extension but can't seem to get the extension installed properly, I have followed the installation (below) provided in the README.txt. I am not sure what the proper settings should be to "grant rights" or to what group. Also, now option of Additional Customer Fields is available is System->Localisation. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need these additional fields.

1. No files will be overridden
2. Copy 'vqmod' and 'admin' folders in the root folder of your website
3. Grant rights in admin area -> System -> Users -> User Groups
4. Enter in Additional Customer Fields interface admin area -> System -> Localisation -> Additional Customer Fields so this extension to be initialised.
This final step is important, because if you don't access this menu after you copy files, some errors may appear.

1.) Do you have vQmod installed? If not, download and install it.

2.) Go to System --> Users --> User Groups, click edit for your Top Administrator, then make sure all boxes are checked for access and modify permissions.

That should make it work.

Thanks for the reply BigChill.

Yes vQmod is installed. I failed to mention that this OpenCart is on a Joomla site as AceShop. The vQmod xml script needed to be installed in the vQmod Manager (System->vQmod Manager). I now have access to the Additional Customer Fields system resource but I get "Permission Denied" even though my Top Administrator has been granted rights. Any ideas on establishing permissions for this script?
